The Finger

This is THE FINGER.


THE FINGER started off as some good clean time wasting fun between me and the boys at work. I currently work at in reprographic printing (architectural) so there's a casualness about our behavior. A finger here, a finger there. No malice, just a little "Fuck you" with a smile. No reason was ever needed to justify this action. It culminated with me having some 2" x 2" stickies made of the image above and applying them liberally around a co-workers workspace so when he came in the next day all he saw everywhere he looked was THE FINGER. It was beautiful. That was over a month ago and I know for a fact at least four remain and will pop out when he is least expecting it.

I am hoping to use THE FINGER as a regular segment here on mrjackstrawsays in the same way that John Derringer has his "Tool of the Day" on the Q107. (Go ahead. Stream it if you're not from Toronto.) Of course this will not be a daily thing but I am hoping to put something worthwhile together on a bi-monthly basis. Basically it will be a way for me to give someone or something THE FINGER because of something they have done or have not done.

Nothing is off limits. It could be you. It could be me. It could be some fucked up dictator or a shitty GM or coach bringing down their team. Whatever it is, I can guarantee you one thing. It will be a justified attack. At least in my mind.

So that's the introduction. We'll see where it goes. I have an outline for my first write-up, but I need to get it just right. This one is quite personal to me and stats are involved. Stay tuned...
